The tragedy of America is that we became drunk on our own power, thinking harming people in other countries, neglecting the needs of people in our own country, and trashing every value including our responsibility to the earth itself, could go on forever & not have consequences.

A lack of self critical awareness, has in part, led us to becoming a wasteful consumer society of lonely individuals. We have all become the fat lazy king who can no longer lift their sword.

Someone is going to have to do something drastic to wrest power from the undemocratic corporatist oligarchy which demands such abhorrent national behavior, it almost seems. The 2-party duopoly smothers public opinion in these regards, and will kill anyone to preserve their power.
