The tragedy of America is that we became drunk on our own power, thinking harming people in other countries, neglecting the needs of people in our own country, and trashing every value including our responsibility to the earth itself, could go on forever & not have consequences.

This comment reflects a core problem w/ well off Americans "America" isn't homogeneous Elites/govt, middle class whites, & poor/poc live in different Americas America (ideal) can't exist w/o violence bc liberalism rests on individualism Ergo, US (reality) was always predatory

I wrote a book about my depression and the conclusion is: Health care system is made to keep you sick. Education system is made to crush your soul. Religion system disconnect us from our on soul.
