it is not possible for the US to remain at peace. we are a war-based economy. without conflict the whole system would collapse.

No it wouldn’t. We can transition from a war economy to a peace economy the same way we can transition from a dirty economy to a clean economy. For the species to survive, we must do both.

it could, but it won't ever happen. They'll never allow us to change things through the electoral system. BOTH sides are too greedy to take that chance. That's why all the new voting laws now.
