Was reading about conformity earlier. Some would undoubtedly still root for him, but I was surprised that he got that much applause. Then the camera followed him as a "Winner" and clearly showed how happy he was. That seemed like a mistake.

Anyone could have committed any number of assaults with that kind of access. Academy might consider adding decorative security guards on the floor surrounding the stage with checking costumes at the door. Yikes
