That one incident wasn't great, but all in all the Oscars was very touching tonight. It's too rare now that we get to celebrate and appreciate the wonderful things that people are doing. Without the artists among us, I don't know how we would make it through these times.

I thought it was so important and yes it was great because Will Smith doesn’t often set a tone at a gala event and in this instance I think he drew a line between what’s funny and what’s being used as an ad hominem just to be “funny” His actions were perhaps melodramatic #BFD
