Disgusting.
LEAKED EMAIL: Applebee’s franchise exec says that rising gas prices are great for business because the chain can offer workers lower wages. “Most of our employee base and potential employee base live paycheck to paycheck… the labor market is about to turn in our favor.”

Also, an incorrect conclusion. The first thing that will happen for Applebee's is that their young professional customer demographic will tighten their belts, so the Friday after-work beer- and wing-fest gets cut right out of their budget.

Applebees is a crappy restaurant too. How gross. Yeah dont blame biden for this crap. It's all big businesses who like the R regime so they make Ds look bad. Ds need to do a mich better job of calling this crap out but unfortunately half the country is brainwashed by faux.

Well they didn’t create the problem. They just see the problem and admit it will help them as a company.

I don’t think I need to be reminded not to eat at an Applebees ever again. Unless of course I want to consume my monthly amount of allowable sodium in one sitting.

Desperate ->hard working What employer doesn’t want a desperate worker? Raising gas prices makes us all more desperate and “better employees” Universal Basic Income (UBI) fights back, and makes the people less desperate, and the rich less cut throat.

I mean this is just capitalism. Business try to reduce costs where they can and labor is a cost. Outrage!
