You’ll have to explain to me how it’s any different. Because it was in an enclosed room (oven) rather than on the battlefield? Jews were rounded up and put in gas chambers in a genocidal war. Hitler used chemical gas to kill them.

Yeah he used them in the camps but not as a weapon against other armies because of fear of chemical retaliation by the allies and the soviets. That’s what i think what the op meant.
