Martin Luther King Jr. said “If they give it to the poor they call it a handout, but if they give it to the rich they call it a subsidy.” Why should we subsidize multi B$ Oil & Pharma companies but not kids just trying to get an education?

Same reason my kids public school needs a fundraiser for necessary supplies but I never see the cops having a bake sale.
