She's right, the ideal situation is banning the bomb. But it's not practical, you can't force the compliance of say, China. That said, it has to happen, or it WILL be our doom.

3/ How is our having so many nuclear warheads helping us now? Dropping 50, max, would be enough to pretty much destroy the world. The trillions of $ we have already spent on nuclear bombs has almost nothing to do with our security. When this Ukrainian horror is over, #BanTheBomb.

But 7000? How does having 7000 help us anymore than having 500? By the time you drop 100, it’s over for humanity as we know it. $634 billion over the next 10 years has nothing to do with creating more safety. This is about profit for the nuclear industry, not security.
