No. the cost, and noise is too much. Public property isn’t respected like in other countries. Maybe if they buried under ground it might be better.

If only it served the parts of America that have no mass transit whatsoever of any kind, like anything in Michigan north of Detroit. Actually, I'd take regular omnibus service to Michigan towns INSTEAD of high speed trains connecting the already served big cities.

no what we need is each state to have a hub in their capital and then have one in DC so it is easy and economical to reach our lawmakers and remind them who they work for
