The bulk of the Republican Party today represents a nosedive for our democracy; the corporatist wing of the Democratic Party represents a managed decline. The people of the US are ready to move on, to break with the past, and reclaim the core values that both used to represent.

2/ Democrats used to stand unequivocally for the interests of working people in the United States. The Republicans were always more business-friendly, but they at least used to acknowledge there *was* a common good that needed protecting. Both are now corrupted by corporate cash.

3/ Progressives within the Democratic party are the only hope for reform of the two-party system. Corporate Dems still trying to run them off in 2022 elections; don't let them. Among others, support @NinaTurner NinaTurner.com!

The only thing that binds us all is liberty. If you’re not talking about that, no one cares.

You had at me at “the people of the US are ready to move on, to break with the past”. You lost me at “reclaim core values that both used to represent”. NO SYSTEMS anymore! No past. We need something new. It needs to flow freely. To be open, available, immediate to the moment.

Please stop down playing the democrats part in the decline. Their policies have been even worse then their evil twin and just as blood thirsty in terrorizing the world with this military machine they built.

I was going to tweet something very similar but couldn’t find your perfect phrase of “managed decline.”

Lol you mean BOTH parties. You are so annoying flipping back and forth between "both parties are bad" to "just repubs and some dems are bad". Go away. You dont add any depth to anything.

The corporatist wing is far too large and all too happy to shrug their shoulders and continue bad policies enacted by the Republicans.
