The bulk of the Republican Party today represents a nosedive for our democracy; the corporatist wing of the Democratic Party represents a managed decline. The people of the US are ready to move on, to break with the past, and reclaim the core values that both used to represent.

2/ Democrats used to stand unequivocally for the interests of working people in the United States. The Republicans were always more business-friendly, but they at least used to acknowledge there *was* a common good that needed protecting. Both are now corrupted by corporate cash.

3/ Progressives within the Democratic party are the only hope for reform of the two-party system. Corporate Dems still trying to run them off in 2022 elections; don't let them. Among others, support @NinaTurner NinaTurner.com!

Take a look at what the Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) has been able to do in three years: Combat drug cartels, complete purchase of Deer Park in Houston, TX, become independent of foreign diesel (independent of gasoline by 2023), new refinery in Tabasco.

Pelosi should step down. Her insider trading is a bad look for the party and the Catholic Church.

You put in progressive candidates in areas where they stand a chance to win. Eventually the tide will turn. If you despair of the dems in areas where more center dems win by trying to impose progressives, you give the votes to 3rd+ parties or no votes, which result in gop wins.

Yeah, I'm not falling for that old reforming-the-Democratic-Party-from-within scam ever again. If Nina wants my vote, she needs to run in a third party. If you and Breaking Points and a bunch of other left media would just COALESCE into a separate party, I'd vote. Never Dems!
