That’s like saying about a mass murderer who had abusive parents when he was a child that “his parents got us here.” No, HE got us here; the fact that he had abusive parents was one contributing factor to his psychosis.

Yeah the parents have fault in that escenario... Just as society as a whole. But more importantly the oligarchies that come out of every organization, and the people that can not encroach them to their obligations, not there interests.

To some degree we have to acknowledge how US and NATO got us here IF we want a peace treaty as soon as possible. Admitting our governments’ faults in precipitating this provides the basis of negotiations both sides can agree to.

The parents abuse does make it more likely for that to happen, but is also not as big of a certainty as what is happening here. Here the the kid, the kids friends and the parents friends, told the parents that the kid do bad things if he's abused and the parent did it anyway.
