Absofuckinlutely. Every policy the world has followed regarding nuclear power has relied on a distinctly fragile premise: that no insane person would get near it. Time to get over that now.

Today would be a very good day to stop the construction of new nuclear power plants and move to decommission nuclear power plants throughout the world.

Oil and natural gas pipelines are just as easy to blow to smithereens, and doing so would have arguably a worse environmental/societal effect.

Green is the only 100% sane way to go, and nuclear provides a smoother transition to green. Carbon emissions are devastating the planet, not nuclear energy.
