This can’t be a serious position. Insane people get near fossil fuels all the time, which do FAR more harm than nuclear—the only thing powerful enough to displace them. Sensible policy positions start with engaging with objective reality!

This would lock in more climate change. We should be engaging in a massive investment in nuclear in addition to solar and wind and every other source we can find which doesn't increase the earth's temperature. Ideally, we'd have an excess of power and use it to sequester carbon.
