Absofuckinlutely. Every policy the world has followed regarding nuclear power has relied on a distinctly fragile premise: that no insane person would get near it. Time to get over that now.
Today would be a very good day to stop the construction of new nuclear power plants and move to decommission nuclear power plants throughout the world.

On the one hand you've claimed climate change to be the existential crisis facing humankind and yet you're against the technologies that would allow us to move away from fossil fuels in a way that doesn't throw us back to the middle ages. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Nice goal. I see no viable way to achieve it. Technically or politically. If the lights go out or the price of gas jumps to $20 a gallon, folks will be burning high sulfur coal with enthusiasm.

You do know that there are designs that don't need any intervention, right? Seems dumb to prevent a safe and reliable energy generation system from existing because it could be attacked. Like cars shouldn't exist because they can be attacked and explode!
Misguided, unscientific, foolish, and counterproductive. But, im sure it gives you All the warm and fuzzies on the insides. Get out of the cult
