The personal testimony and photographs of people enduring what they are enduring in Ukraine is a horror beyond what my heart feels like it can contain. Reminded of Picasso’s Guernica and Edna St. Vincent Millay’s Murder at Lidice.

A little bit of empathy with Irak, Yemen, Siria, Vietnam, Palestine, Laos, Camboya, etc, Marianne. This is at lest what christian persons ask for a lecturer of A Course of Miracles

Everyday is Guernica somewhere in the world but we are mostly shielded from seeing it. You have to be listening to hear their screams.

Funny how nobody's mentioned Yemen in a while. Short attention span?

A lot of those pictures and videos are turning out to be fake or from an entirely different conflict. See the video of a certain Palestinian girl confronting a Israel soldier 10 years ago, being used as propaganda by stating its a Ukraine girl confronting a Russian soldier.

Have you ever heard of Palestine? 'or Iraq? Or Libya? You are really showing that you have never really empathized with the pain of these people before.

I never thought that those who were anti-imperialist would defend such an action. There are far too many. It's as if people in this country have completely abandoned principles and any virtue.
