We’re living in a historical epoch that’s an “in between times.” An old order is falling apart and a new one is struggling to be born. In order to be conduits for a just transition between the two we need to think in terms of who we are as much as in terms of what we do.

VP didn’t want Ukraine joining NATO for obvious reasons, he couldn’t take that risk and got in first to prevent it from happening. Doesn’t make it right but neutrality might’ve been the better option.

I am completely failing to see any change whatsoever. In 2003, the US decided to "go it alone" and invaded Iraq, stating it was for "defense" and setting a precedent for Russia to also "go it alone" and invade Ukraine, also claiming for defense.
