These companies have no soul.
Starbucks could give every one of its 383,000 workers a $5,000 bonus & still keep $2.6 billion in profits from last year. Instead they're raising prices while spending $20 billion on stock buybacks & dividends when profits are up 31%. Don't blame inflation. Blame corporate greed.

Stock buybacks should be illegal.

They were, before the 1980s. It was part of Reaganomics to change that

Vote every day by how you spend your money. I don't drink coffee but if you do... Don't buy coffee from Starbucks. If you make it at home you can save yourself a small fortune. Their profit will become your profit. 😀

There are so many things wrong with what Bernie said. First of all he has no concept of revenue versus profit. Secondly he lives off a tax payer money never having turned a profit a day in his life. Completely wrong guy to listen to on this subject.

Nobody has to work at Starbucks.

By design.. By declaring companies equal footing with people in the eyes of the court the emotional connection was removed even for those at the top. It is the company making this decision not me... By declaring the company -primary fiscal responsibility to stockholders
