Suggesting we do nothing to support a country that is being ruthlessly invaded doesn't make you "anti-war."

US started this war in 2014 when it backed a coup that overthrew the elected gov't, selected the new leaders, empowered fascists who burned people alive, & poured in $2.7 billion in weapons to shell the resisters. We should do something: stop treating Ukraine as cannon fodder.

So to you that means doing nothing now? You think that’s a moral high ground?

The best way to clear a muddy puddle, @marwilliamson, is to stop stirring it!

You think America has any moral high ground to stand on? Your answer to us provoking an invasion is to fund and escalate? You think that makes you more anti-war? War is peace? There is a simple diplomatic solution to this and America is encouraging Ukraine not to accept it.

I don’t get how you preach about love, but are loved by the military industrial complex for advocating for US intervention in these conflicts. Most of these conflicts started because of the USA so maybe what you need to do is hold Washington responsible.

It doesn't mean "do nothing". It means stop sending weapons and starting coups.

We need to be demanding a ceasefire. NOT sending weapons.

Do you actually trust US leadership to do the right thing????

Stop funding the war would be a good idea from a moral point of view.

You are in over your head here. If you are serious about this issue, as well as running for a position in politics, where you will be voting on these things more often than you should, I say you have a discussion with Aaron. & Go in to learn instead of defend a position.
