Suggesting we do nothing to support a country that is being ruthlessly invaded doesn't make you "anti-war."

US started this war in 2014 when it backed a coup that overthrew the elected gov't, selected the new leaders, empowered fascists who burned people alive, & poured in $2.7 billion in weapons to shell the resisters. We should do something: stop treating Ukraine as cannon fodder.

US State Department has come out in opposition to Zelenskyy and Putin meeting to discuss potential ceasefire. (!) "Now we see Moscow suggesting that diplomacy take place at the barrel of a gun, or as Moscow’s rockets, mortars, artillery target the Ukrainian people."

Your argument makes sense if you think the anti-war people support the Nazis. Would putting Obama and other conspirators in prison and apologizing to Ukraine be enough "doing something" for you, or do you only advocate for escalating violence?

Do nothing?? The US can stop this with one phone call, acknowledging a militarized US/NATO-controlled Ukraine is an absolute redline for Russia- basically its Cuban missile crisis- and proceed from there. Something it has had 8 years to do, but has chosen to keep escalating.

What would you suggest “we” do? Most of us can’t even afford food and a roof over our head. War pigs have been ginning up this crap for 6 years. Step back! Take a breath! Now ask yourself “why is this happening”??? This didn’t just happen out of the blue.

500,000 children were killed as a direct result of UN-imposed sanctions on Iraq. "What number in child mortality do you think would be appropriate to justify the sanctions? 450,000? 350,000? 200,000? Would it not still classify as genocide?"
