Suggesting we do nothing to support a country that is being ruthlessly invaded doesn't make you "anti-war."

The US laid the foundation in 2014 when it overthrew Ukraine's first elected government. Then the US encouraged Ukraine to aim for Nato membership, thus threatening Russia. Russia asks that Ukraine be neutral. The final straw may be when Zelenskyy said Ukraine should get nukes

The US stepping back and letting Russia and Ukraine negotiate is something. The US conceding that it is better to have Ukraine be a neutral buffer than start WW3 is something. The US pulling NATO bases away from Russia's borders is something.

weird how it's the wealthy and disconnected so eager to escalate and put weapons in other people's hands. so... when are you flying out and enlisting?

It doesn't make us pro-war either. But I understand if you still have political ambitions, you almost have to support any way that comes along.

There is something we can do. Support the parties going back to the table, revive the Minsk protocols. If you don't know what those are, you shouldn't be posting on this, and certainly not as a progressive.
