There is a legitimate and an illegitimate use of military force. Supporting the Ukrainians in the defense of their country is not "war-mongering." It's *because* someone understands that, that a criticism of military adventurism such as that in Iraq and Afghanistan carries weight

Your willingness to announce your immediate emotional response to the invasion of Ukraine without knowing more about the conflict and the consequences was v irresponsible. Do better. salon.com/2022/02/26/the-ukr…

You're off base on this one, Marianne. How have you not seen the war machine salivating for this one? US has a major role in creating this crisis. We should be mad as hell they did nothing to prevent this.

You know better than joining the ameboid round dance of kneejerk reaction and 'good guys' feeling. The US created this crisis, planned it for years, it's completely unprincipled and unfair. Rusia is bulling the world's bully; they are not wrong. You are a coward, though.

Oh dear, you have taken a strange position, which has you ignoring the larger part of the story. Take a dose of Chris Hedges.

Do I misunderstand you, or are you seriously saying that I, as an American, have no right to denounce the war crimes my country has been committing against Iraq, Iran, Libya, Afghanistan, and Syria unless I also denounce Putin?
