No one has a blind spot regarding the mendacity of Russia's military establishment. Most people have a blind spot regarding the causes of what's happening.

Increasing the red/blue divide isn't helpful. It's mainly a distraction. The real divide is between oligarchs and the people.

Please, Dems and GOP differ infinitesimally on this issue. Both parties have a blind spot on the mendacity of American militarism because if they did not turn a blind eye to that mendacity they would not be in office.

I’d say you have this perfectly reversed. The “left” (Democratic Party voters) is hawkishly anti-Russia and assumes everything our military/CIA/etc establishment says is true, while the “right” (MAGA) believes every word out of Moscow. Or is this what you meant and I misread?
