1/ $780 billion a year is our military budget. We invaded Iraq although it never did anything to us. We stayed in Afghanistan at least 10 years longer than we needed to, doing nothing to bolster a democratic government.

You can’t have it both ways. On one hand you say we shouldn’t have gone into Iraq and Aghanistan but on the other we should get involved in Ukraine.

I sure as hell can. The misuse of the military is anathema to me as it should be to anyone, but its legitimate use is part of any adult conversation. I’m not suggesting however that we put boots on the ground in Ukraine.

There's absolutely more we could have done. Not convinced them to disarm their nukes and not allowed for any NATO expansion talk. We fucked this up for them.
