Chuck Todd just asked a Russian opposition politician if he thinks Putin is a "rational actor." No one who preemptively, without provocation invades another country (including Bush and Cheney) should be considered a rational actor.

I really hate it when news persons ask questions like this. It gives us no real information, and is just used to lead the guest to a specific narrative that the network wishes to promote. What are the facts? That's what news should give. We already have too many opinions.

Every time you post some uneducated comment like this, it undermines any progress you've made painting yourself as being for justice, peace, and equality. You've clearly accepted the US position wholesale, ignoring this country's very real contributions to the mess.

It’s Chuck Todd. I would expect nothing from him.

There is nothing irrational in all of this shit show apart of the US and co. trying to get the basket case of Ukraine into NATO.

Amend where u say, "without provocation," as that is completely false, years of provocation, up to & including providing aid, weapons & support to Right-Wing Nationalists (like many actual Nazi groups seen in Maidan) to wage a civil war with the pro-Russian eastern Donbas areas.

Counterpoint: If he was an irrational actor, he would’ve invaded Australia. Don’t confuse morality and rationality, every bad actor has their motives & constraints #knowThineEnemy

This is an ill- judged tweet. The plight of the Ukrainien people is beyond your party politics. An altogether different place now.
