For 50 yrs we bought the illusion that mutual assured destruction keeps everyone safe. That only works when leaders are sane enough to put preserving life before accumulating power. If any good comes from this, it will be awakening to the sheer insanity of nukes existing at all.

Absolutely, Marianne. The myth of the nuclear deterrent is dead. As the US and now Russia have demonstrated, nuclear arsenals simply give those who possess them a free pass to misbehave.

Everyone needs to realize this same Cabal has kept the World at war for 2000 years, consequently every generation is growing up under tyranny & despotism which affects the whole world negatively. Rothschild held the stakes and through the Catholic Church said the world is Mine.

60 years and counting it's sustained no nuclear escalation and diplomacy. That's not an illusion. If Ukraine had retained its coldwar arsenal.. i doubt we'd be here now. You can't put the genie back in Pandoras box.

the insanity of nuclear bombs existing has always been frightening ; not reassuring . I was a teenager in the 80s in the UK. The “ protect and survive” nuclear war information films we had to watch at school haunt me to this day!

Marianna, I have the utmost respect for you, however, if there was no treat of Nuclear War. We will go back to conventional war, which is barbaric to say the least. At least Nuclear war provides a Zero Sum Game. And like you said our leaders are insane.

It may be insane to have them but who would give them up? Gaddafi gave up his nuclear program and was sodomized to death by a pole. Ukraine gave em up and is now being eaten by Russia.
