Sounds like Neville Chamberlain thinking. "Peace for our Time". That didn't work very well. Reality has caught up with the Western blunders on energy and appeasement. Explanation in this well-written book:

I think Dark Psychic forces can be a bit mystifying to the average person. Are these people who identified with the wrong things? It’s sick & toxic power ploys. We play these wrong roles because society is based on principles that aren’t in alignment with our souls to wake us up.

Actually they are. I think organized opposition to USG campaign to demonize and defenestrate the Russian govt for the ‘crime’ of independent nationalism (in eyes of USG) would have been more useful.
