Why does it feel like Putin is taking advantage of a weakened and divided America? Feel awful for the people of Ukraine who are seeing their country attacked and are either fighting or fleeing for their lives.

US empire has never had any military credibility or moral authority. They didn't even care, in principle, about defeating Nazism in WW2. It was just about, you know, we'd prefer to become the dominant superpower instead of letting Germany do it

At what point do Western governments acknowledge that eastward expansion is provocation? The Russian response to said expansion is condemnable. We cannot say that it is surprising.
