BREAKING: Starbucks has fired one of the leading @SBWorkersUnited union organizers in Buffalo. Cassie Fleischer worked at Starbucks for five years. She helped Elmwood become the first unionized store in company history and is on the union's bargaining committee.

Cassie's job is no less important than the Seven Memphis workers who were fired, but I asked that we do not forget that the first retaliatory firings where a group of seven people of color in Memphis Tennessee. Particularly with how often Starbucks likes to quote MLK.

Let’s not lose sight of the 7 workers in Memphis that Starbucks also fired in a union-busting effort. This situation already has a human face, multiple human faces.
