The subway streets and park are hardly valid accommodations for the homeless, they create many unpleasant and often criminal situations for ordinary citizens, they should be wards of the state and taken to adequate facilities.

Anyone who has ridden the NYC subway system on a regular basis knows there is a segment of the homeless population suffering from extreme mental illness. Cutting the budget is not the answer and it's also not fair giving the problem to the police to deal with. Sad situation!

Yes ... lets get the homeless off the Subways ... but unlike Mayor Adams ... let's get them into decent housing!
