Children aren’t old enough to vote, so they’re not a political constituency; they aren’t old enough to work, therefore they have no financial leverage. As a consequence they are treated as little more than collateral damage within a system that thinks business is the bottom line.
In December 2021, child poverty was 12.1 percent. By January 2022, it had increased 4.9 points, to 17 percent. This is a catastrophe. No child should grow up in poverty. That is the bare minimum in a country as rich as America.

Democrats put the interests of the teacher’s unions ahead of the schoolchildren because the latter don’t make campaign contributions. Shameful.

anyone who has any idea what the lives of children have been like the last two years would never support democrats in 2022. this is coming from someone who supported you in 2020. the rampant, state-sponsored child abuse of the last two years is the end of the democratic party.
