Some people don’t get to “be done” with the pandemic…
🚨I wrote about immunocompromised people—what they’ve been through, their frustrations, and their hopes. This is a plea to think about those who don’t get to be done with the pandemic, and to prioritize them as a matter of moral and medical urgency. 1/ theatlantic.com/health/archi…

There have always been less healthy people in the world who are more susceptible to disease. We are humans and this is just the way it is. Why is this such a big deal now?

Yes, obviously. By definition, these people are at risk for any sort of malady. Should we determine rules for the healthy to protect the old and infirm? That is, I think, the question of this pandemic. For most, the results are in and they're disastrous.

Your lack of outrage at the damages to humanity as a result of the COVID measures is shocking. All of these measures totally clash with your teachings. The propagation of fear being such an obvious weapon.

That’s the problem with our approach to the pandemic, one size fits all. The at risk should have been told get vaccinated wear a N95 mask avoid large indoor crowds etc. not everyone just the at risk.

Marianne, I thought you always advocated for people to empower themselves. Spiritually, emotionally, physically. Your words and teachings helped lift people UP. What changed your message to one of victim hood now?
