I can respect someone without respecting their choice. It takes no money or particular amount of time to vote. People have died for the right. So no, I don't have to respect someone choosing to throw their vote over to Mitch McConnell and thinking it's some statement or strategy

.@marwilliamson I volunteered @ProjAngelFood for decades. I canvassed for Bernie & was active in legalizing weed in Cali. I even promoted many of the candidates you’re platforming. HOWEVER, you can’t be dismissive of disenfranchised voters’ pain. Accept reality & make your case!

Coming across privileged & dismissive is counterproductive. Where’s your empathy? Millions facing housing & food insecurity. Voting hasn’t delivered systemic change. That’s a valid criticism! Ppl are allowed to demand & pursue a new strategy. Onus is on you & these candidates.

Why is anyone talking about George Soros?? What has that got to do with anything? If you want to work outside the electoral system more power. For sure, work is needed of the outside. But if you don’t have people on the inside how do you make change?

And even if those who have got elected have been a disappointment - I wouldn’t even argue against that - does that mean that nothing is ever possible from the inside? I trust maybe 3 people in Congress. But it’s still a pathway that is part of the overall picture

Exactly. SeizeTheHouse has nothing to do with supporting a political party; it has to do with supporting candidates such as yourself who are as aware of the problems as anyone else but who are doing what you can to help solve them.
