You forgot to mention that Norway makes a substantial part of its money from Oil, that it has in abundance and exports. Also in many ways capitalism is freer in Norway than in the US. In European Social Democracies the people, not the companies pay high taxes and social security.

It isn’t right and it isn’t fair, but we are the world’s protector. If we didn’t have to spend so much on the military we could do amazing things but then who stops the aggression of Russia in Ukraine and China in Asia? Norway isn’t going to do anything to stop Putin.
