Comparing the USA to Norway isn’t fair, they are a far smaller country and made up mostly of one ethnic group

That has nothing to do with how they structure their government and their economy.

Sorry, but we have never had "unfettered capitalism" and Norway is not socialist.

We have mainly unfettered capitalism now, and Norway is a hybrid of socialism and capitalism.

If the average personal tax rates are essentially equal, then the disparate outcomes are a result of poor financial management of those tax dollars by the government themselves, and/or corruption. Capitalism/"socialism" has nothing to do with it.

Tell someone born in Norway they are a socialist and see what their reaction is... Also Norway has no minimum wage.

Every right winger reading this is just waiting to yell about taxes, and then they get smacked in the face by that last line. I assume they get more taxes out of their big businesses.

They better plan for a color revolution coming their way soon because our oligarchs can’t have that type of happiness in contrast to our lack of happiness.
The U.S. is "14th Happiest country"?? I wonder how many opinions of homeless people living in the open spaces under interstate highway bridges they included in the poll, or how many people just seeking to survive another day in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, for that matter.

US has highest ceiling for individuals, and where most of innovation comes from: due to the pressure create diamonds here. The US is different. I'm starting to think some people should consider moving to Norway, Canada or whatever place that aligns w/them better, but they don't.
