Democrats have always been corporatists. The fact that they’re tightening their belts right now doesn’t mean they weren’t corporatists before. There’s a reason why a lot of working class people became disillusioned with the democrats and flocked to the republicans.

When the ACLU protected speech, when we hated war, we fought against corporations, we supported worker rallies. They proved us false on all those fronts in one week. What a way to start the year.
