Delegitimizing the idea that Jews are a race is deeply problematical. Hitler seeing Jews as an “inferior race” was his justification for genocide & still lies at the core of anti-Semitism.The answer isn’t to claim we’re not a race; it’s to recognize that we’re equal to all others

Hitler was a murderer who saw everyone as an inferior race because the only race that mattered to the Nazis were the Aryans. Didn't matter what your skin color was. That was her point and valid. Judaism crosses racial lines. There is no Jewish box to check on the Census.

And my point is that that point is incorrect. There was certainly that census box in Nazi Germany, as well as in czarist Russia and everywhere else for centuries where Jews were persecuted.

The Nazis were murderous lunatics. So they shouldn't be the standard to determine anything. We aren't in Nazi, Germany. Anyone who didn't follow their doctrine white or not was persecuted seen as inferior. 5 Million other lives that were lost were not Jews.

Yes, the notorious “fifth point” for Nationality on the Soviet internal pasport, used to screen Jewish people from good jobs & university admissions, was continued til 1997, when the new Russian IP was issued w/o nationality.
