This doesn’t fundamentally improve the lives of most working people, due not only to no BBB but also due to lack of universal healthcare, college loan debt, wage stagnation & income inequality. Most of the gains are just going to the top. That is a perilous, not a strong economy.
During our first year in office, we achieved:
- The greatest year of job growth in American history
- The fastest economic growth in nearly four decades
- Record drops in unemployment
Now, we’ve got to keep the progress going by passing my Build Back Better Agenda.

“When they give it to the poor they call it a handout; when they give it to the rich they call it a subsidy” -MLK Jr. The “handouts” you refer to have been the largest stimulants on the economy - plus for millions of people they have meant lives kept afloat.
