Incredibly disappointed in the CA State Assembly. We had a chance to have universal healthcare in California, and they blew it. We only needed 41 of 56 Dems to vote yes and they ran the clock. The bill is dead. #shame #ab1400 #CalCare #UniversalHealthcare

New York is going to have an opportunity to pass the NY Health Act this year. It would guarantee health insurance to everyone in NY & it finally has enough cosponsors to pass the assembly and state Senate.
