This is very sad.
Incredibly disappointed in the CA State Assembly. We had a chance to have universal healthcare in California, and they blew it. We only needed 41 of 56 Dems to vote yes and they ran the clock. The bill is dead. #shame #ab1400 #CalCare #UniversalHealthcare

Oh really?!?! Where ya been Ms. Williamson? U could have made a difference during the recall pushing progressives to hold Newsom’s feet to the fire? U could have called national attention to the vote + corporate influence over it + Newsom’s flip flop which had a hand in this!

No it is not sad. Universal healthcare is a failing agenda. Look like farther than the BA healthcare system. The government fails and fails bad running a healthcare system.

Being from California this is not a surprised. It’s not just State reps not voting it, Californians vote conservative down ballot lines during proposition proposals. You would think being a Democratic State they would try to help the poor. Nope California is run by rich Elites.

Yes! So sad! The massive increase in state tax would have guaranteed Democrats controlling the legislature for decades!

no. given what we’ve seen with mandates and murder (via remdesivir and ventilators) thr last two years, the last thing i want is for the government of california to be in charge of my health. no. this is coming from a bernie-voting supporter of single payer up through march 2020

This is why Californians should stop voting for democrats.

This is a billion dollar industry and they can buy off anyone they want. We won’t have universal health care in this country without dealing with the massive profit inherent in the current system.

Corrupt is the word you're looking for. Democrats are standing in the way of healthcare for all.

This is a continuation of the Democratic Party theatrics, without delivering anything substantial, and taking two steps backward.
