We’re too selective with our outrage regarding “misinformation.” Often it’s a concept used to direct our attention to where officialdom wants us to be upset, while in other areas the same officialdom is misinforming us on a daily basis.The US war machine thrives on misinformation

Absolutely. But outrage over deliberate misinformation is something that should have universal application. Bush & Cheney deliberately misinformed and millions died because of it; the fact they weren’t here at home doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter. Too many were like, “Oh well…”
