Just to be clear, at least 15 years of US military presence in Afghanistan was based on “misinformation” coming from the highest levels of our govt. Thousands of Americans, at least hundreds of thousands of Afghans died because of it. No bigger “misinformer” than the Pentagon.

Precisely! And this was Trump's gameplan. He figured if the Pentagon and US State Dept used misinformation to start wars, he'd use it to his advantage in politics. US govt has been lying since well before any one of us were born. Ask Smedley Butler.

Not just Afghanistan, but Iraq, Syria, Libya, and every other war the US backs and/or participates in.

The govt fed us the misinformation of "fats are bad, eat carbs and margerine" for decades. That harmed us. Now 72% are overweight, obese (diabetes, heart disease). This selective outrage is B.S.
