Just to be clear, at least 15 years of US military presence in Afghanistan was based on “misinformation” coming from the highest levels of our govt. Thousands of Americans, at least hundreds of thousands of Afghans died because of it. No bigger “misinformer” than the Pentagon.

IF AMERICA WERE A DEMOCRACY We wouldn't have spent 20 years in Afghanistan We would have high speed rail, instead of pumping public money into Tesla US could have built coast to coast high speed rail for a small fraction of what we spent in Afghanistan
