I'm triple vaxxed, but (unless they're standing for hate or calling for violence) banning someone's podcast is too much like burning a book to me. Joe Rogan should talk on his podcast about whatever he damn well pleases.

I respectfully disagree. He has every right to exercise his first amendment right but has NO right to endanger lives of his uninformed followers.

The current political environment shows how many people have authoritarian instincts as either sheep or wolves and go along with or even advocate censorship because they don't like a particular point of view. These instincts are what the 1930s dictatorships were built on.

Banning stuff always comes back to bite us all in the ass.

Yeah, absolutely we should be against someone spewing violent/hateful rhetoric to millions of people, but spewing misinformation to millions of people that could get some of them hurt or killed, gosh, that's COMPLETELY different. Not that banning his podcast is even on the table.

Hi Marianne, as a fellow triple vaxxed who is pro vaccine and anti-censorship, I thank you. Your tweet is actually "true liberal" by definition. Other than hate/violence, let's hear all views and seek the truth... wherever it may lead.

No government is threatening to "ban" Rogan. That decision would have to come from Spotify, which is a private business entitled to make its own decisions.

What do you think about @BreneBrown ? Heartbreaking that (so-called) artists and thought leaders are deciding to die on the hill of moral superiority. Where are they when it comes to #M4A? Where are they on corporate greed?

Good for you, Marianne! I agree 100%! If people don't like him they don't have to tune in!

馃挴 it's fine if people disagree. It's also fine if they choose to leave but trying to hold a company hostage is not the way. Not a Spotify fan but glad they had $100 million reasons not to give in.
