This is not the same at ALL. Banning is when a government prohibits something. Not supporting a podcast by boycotts of sponsors is exercising ones rights. Government isn’t involved here.

Given the massive size of Rogan's audience and the number of covid deaths, it is almost a statistical certainty that there is someone out there who was in some small part swayed by Rogan's covid disinfo who is dead now. Perhaps even a number of people. He is not owed a platform.
