I'm triple vaxxed, but (unless they're standing for hate or calling for violence) banning someone's podcast is too much like burning a book to me. Joe Rogan should talk on his podcast about whatever he damn well pleases.

And I can cancel my subscription if I damn well please (which I did). And after what we’ve witnessed in Ottawa this weekend, the line has been crossed.

I disagree:
Spotify isn’t just hosting Joe Rogan. They signed a $100 million contract with him to host his content exclusively on their platform. This isn’t about censorship. It’s about the misinformation that Spotify is financially SPONSORING.

Rare L. Being unvaccinated at this point (if one is able to be) shows something about someone’s character. It just does. They can still be overall a good person but it’s a sign of selfishness.

Blocking someone's opinion or thought on certain issues only brings more interest. Only criminals don't like exposure.

He’s not being banned, ffs. A few musicians are leaving Spotify in protest as is their right. People are dying because of Rogan’s disinformation.

Is Neil Young or Spotify government-affiliated entities? No. Therefore no one has been banned from anything. And btw, Rogan is spreading medical misinformation that is killing people.

Thank you for this. Digital cancellation and deplatforming IS book burning in 2022. Both are the destruction of information and the silencing of voices -- some of which turn out to be right 6 months later.
