I'm triple vaxxed, but (unless they're standing for hate or calling for violence) banning someone's podcast is too much like burning a book to me. Joe Rogan should talk on his podcast about whatever he damn well pleases.

He's not banned. He is exercising his rights, and everyone else is exercising theirs to listen to him or not and to support Spotify or not. There are always consequences for choices we make. I don't think any of the artists exercising their rights will miss that $1 for 358 plays.

He doesn’t have a podcast. He has a show on Spotify.

...and people who are artists on that platform can leave, disagree with their policies and bring awareness to misinformation, right? While taking fans along to better platforms. #LongMayYouRun @Neilyoung and @SIRIUSXM win, WIN.

Who is banning a podcast? No one, that's who.

The operative word in your Tweet is “standing.” I believe his expression is being dampened because some interpret it as “hate and violence.” Joe Rogan will find a way to communicate his consciousness somehow but, distribution of misinformation is a choice too.

Sure, but we don't have to support the companies that support him.

Thank you- hard to find a voice of reason among my liberal circle nowadays. If we’re calling out misinformation on a podcast by some guy who’s not an expert, why aren’t we calling out all the misinformation we’ve had from experts.

Banning misinformation is NOTHING like banning a book that depicts history.
