Actually the origin of “the state” was born from class conflict exploding all across the ancient world in the Near East. The ruling class needed a state to use as a violent force of oppression in order to maintain power over the masses

I think this is old enlightenment period thinking; we see there will always be a portion of the populace that is racist/crazy, do they deserve representation, should they have a voice in legislation?
