Today's "leftists" somehow managed to vote Republican in general elections, too. Funny how that works. When I was growing up, Republican voters were called "republicans".

No they weren’t. The average democrat of today would not have been a republican in the 50s and 60s.

They approve every military spending bill that comes to the floor so I would say they are closer to past neocons.

When I was growing up they were called Americans. And so were all the other political sub-affiliations. Even my immigrant parents and their Ohio born brown kids... #American. #ReturnToLove @marwilliamson ... and I say that sincerely and as a fan.
